A perfect Tucson tattoo. I you’ve seem the amazing Saguaro cacti, you know there are always some cactus skeletons being held up by strong living Saguaros. This was based on a photo my client took while she was hiking in Saguaro National Park.
This traditional rattlesnake is such a cool concept for placement. We wanted symmetry but gave it a little more flair by making the matching rattler have a little different stance from the hip up. This is still a work in progress so the other rattlesnake will be finished soon.
This American traditional angel tattoo is on one of my best clients. She saw a flash image on the wall at the shop and wanted something similar to fill a little space on the back of her leg.
My awesome client gave me the idea to make her a floral mandala piece in some colors we had really been loving on her for her elbow piece. I can’t believe we’re almost tattooed her whole body now.
This was a first time client who saw some of my turquoise work on my instagram and decided she needed one too. She had a nice collection and I was very happy to add this tattoo to it.

I made another similar blackberry tattoo for another client and this gal just loved it and wanted something similar. This was actually hand drawn on to fit the space. I love the movement and how well it sits inbetween her other tattoos.
Same client who wanted his whole leg tattooed in two months came in with a neat burning church design, so I made it a little less sacrilegious and created a burning castle instead.

Here’s a little filler flower I made for my really good client. A lot of her tattoos are on this gallery because she is DEDICATED and comes in at least once a month. All the tattoos around it are by me, except The one peeking around the side of her arm was a tattoo redo that she did not love until I got my hands on it.
Classic scythe for my good client who finished his whole leg in a month. I wonder where he is now? All I know is that he’s running around with a whole ass awesome leg that I made all fo the tattoos for.
Dark and moody biblical angel for my client that had made a consultation appointment that I misread as an actual appointment. I showed her the design and we got to work. She only let me know afterwards that she didn’t know we were tattooing that day. It was silly, but she was down and I was obviously ready to go!

I was stoked to do this cool spider and web tattoo on my amazing client. He started getting tattooed on his 50th birthday and we’ve almost covered his whole body. Now he’s obsessed and has even taken my Tattooer suggestions in Spain and has gotten tattooed there as well. He’s fun.

It’s funny to think that this man thought all tattoos had to mean something when I gave him his first tattoo. This was maybe his 3rd or 4th piece from me. he just wanted it because the thought it was cool. He had specifics so I drew it up for him. He’s now the proud owner for some of my most beloved pieces.

I love this praying mantis! It was fun to play with the color a little and make it more interesting. A lot of people get the mantis eating it’s mate’s head, but I’m not that ghoulish.

Have you ever read Goosbumps? What an iconic series. This girl has so many girl head tattoos. She didn’t know if it was weird to get only girl heads on her arm and I told her NO WAY. So, she has a sleeve filled with girls. My hero!
Nice big fine line feline. I love this image. Big cat heads are hard to draw, and harder to tattoo especially with all that hair.
Cool guy with a cool scorpion on his forearm. This was before he wanted to get his hand tattooed so it sort of tickles the wrist a bit. We did end up tattooing his hand which I was stoked about. He’s got a good job so calm down.
My take on a classic design. This client wanted a heart hole in the hand which I was happy to oblige. It’s cool when I can collaborate with my clients. My ego is very small so I will pretty much tattoo whatever you have in your head. It’s your tattoo moreso than it’s mine. I always say, this is your world, we’re just living in it.
Another piece of permanent jewelry for a client I had only done roll the dice tattoos on. I was stoked to change it up a bit and make this jewelry with a darker look like the turquoise jewelry had a cool dark patina.

This black and grey lily tattoo was for my client who wanted to make sure he included his family in many of his tattoos. The ribbons are the initials for some of his family members.

The blackberries that stared it all! This was fun to do. The while day was dedicated to her adn her brother and I spent MANY hours tattooing them both. We made these berries then she wanted MORE so we ended up drawing the on all over. Super fun!
When this client gets a tattoo, her husband has to get one too. And they’re usually similar which I think is cute and endearing. He got a rose tattoo and a spider tattoo with the web so she combined them and got this red traditional rose with web and a spider with a lady head dropping down from it.
Tucson is filled with these strange creatures called Javalina. They look like pigs, but they’re really peccaries which is a type of rodent. Crazy, right?? This one has a bean can stuck on his mouth because they love trash.
I love nudies! My client asked me for this design and I made it custom for her. She got a little tattoo regret because she’s naked but then got over it pretty quickly. I love this girl
My funny client wanted a “delicious bowl of blueberries” and the quail and little quail chicks came not too long after. Each tattoo this client gets is pretty silly and his text messages to me explaining what he wants always make me laugh.
Girly gay phoenix for the win! This tattoo took forever which I didn’t mind because I charge hourly. Jk jk, I do but I really like it because I got to use every color I had, and even had to borrow more to get the full rainbow spectrum.

Second tattoo for my really good client who now comes in a few times a month. He sent me this image of a hawk and wanted something similar so I drew up my version And it got him hooked. Now his whole leg is covered and we’ve started a blastover sleeve on his arm. Obsessed.
If you don’t have a butterfly tattoo, I highly suggest getting one. This one is mixed in with a bouquet of daisies.
I love mermaids. They’re so fun to tattoo. I mean look at her? She’s modest but we’re ok with that. I can make them topless too, but that’s up to you.
Sometimes my clients see someone get a cool tattoo and want the same thing. I will oblige, but I do change it up a bit so they’re not totally the same. This client loved the other pomegranate I made so I made one similar just for them.

This is for one of my Doula clients. It’s an agave growing out of a uterus which is such a neat concept. So, I bought a new black pigment which I used for the first time on this tattoo and it ended up being GREY. Like not even solid black (although the ink is called SOLID BLACK). So it healed nice and soft, which my client didn’t mind. I thought it was funny but only after she laughed first

Tucson classic! When you move to Tucson, you have to get a quail or cactus tattoo. I you’ve been here your whole life, it actually grows on your skin like hair in puberty. It’s crazy but true.

I love this sentiment. We had an awkward space to fill to make this tombstone fit larger than if it was standing upright. I had the suggestion to add a little more interest and break the the tombstone like you may see it in an ancient graveyard
I don’t do black stipple shaded tattoos as much as I would like, so I talked my buddy into it for his dragon tattoo. It’s just a cool way to add texture to any piece, and it’s just got a little more flair than regular black and grey.
For my good client who lost his dog and wanted a little memorial pierce for him. It’s cool when you have clients who give you total control and let you make their tattoo as you see fit. Just this week I asked him if her preferred one thing over another when I was doing a section on his sleeve. He told me, “don’t ask, just tattoo” which cracked me up. He said he has no idea just do what I do best and I obliged.
Well, I love tattooing fruit as you can see from this gallery. It’s just so cute. Strawberries are so girly and it makes me happy to tattoo them.

When a lot of your tattoos mean something, sometimes it’s nice to just get a piece that is just for you because you saw it and thought it was cool. These crossed swords really fit the bill and really fit the space. I like when that happens.
